Dim Sum Dolly @ Esplanade

Date: 23 Feb 08, Saturday
Venue: Esplanade, Singapore

Selena Tan, Pam Oei, Emma Yong – The three dim sum dollies
Hossan Leong – Chopsticks

From 2004 onwards, Dim Sum Dolly has been receiving overwhelming responses and I have finally got to watch them perform this year with Regina. It was really a brilliant play and definitely worth every cents!

Every artists in the play depict the character of each role that they are responsible to e.g Japanese soldiers, Peranakan woman, Indian man etc etc.. They did it very well with the accent and all that accent!

Hossan Leong even had to wear heels on the play and I must say, he’s really got slim legs… How envious! Haha…

Not only does the script is good, the song is nice, artists are talented, their voices are great and…. It’s at the cosy musical theatre Esplanade in Singapore! 78bucks is just right at Circle 2!

PS I love You - 5/5 Awesome!

Dear, i thought i drop a line
The weather is cool
The fooks are fine
I'm in bed each night at nine
Ps i love you

Yesterday we had some rain
But all in all i can't complain
Was it dusty on the train
Ps i love you

Write to the brown's just as soon as you're able
They came around to call
And not burn a hole in the dining room table
Now let me think; i guess that's all
Nothing else for me to say
And so i'll close, but by the way
Everybody's thinking of you
P.s. i love you ----- Curtis Mayfield

Movie Trailer

It's sweet that her husband planned everything for her in order to make her feel less sad, and I can really feel the sadness with her after his death e.g wear his clothes, thinking of him night and day, totally make herself stink like shit. That's really like the whole world came crashing down, leaving her without breath. Eventually with the letters and motivations that her late husband shown, she managed to get up and finding back her life again.

Though most parts in the movie sent me crying within, I have to hide my tears (after all, it's not very nice to weep in front of a guy). It's just wonderfully awesome~ I will get the soundtrack, the book, the movie...

PS, I LOVE this story
